North Country Academic Coaching
High standards.
Patient encouragement.
Preparation, persistence, and a sense of humor along the way.
Your personal mathematics coach
Meet Mike Jones.
I bring a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and approximately 15 years of experience tutoring mathematics.
I help students understand the reasoning behind a solution, practice it themselves, and build a process they can use when I’m not in the room.
North Country adds a clear plan and consistent follow-up to that instruction. Parents receive useful updates; students learn to take ownership of their work.
More independent tomorrow.
Students need room to ask questions, make mistakes, and try again. Progress takes practice and encouragement.
I keep my personal roster to ten active students so I can know each student’s priorities and follow through between lessons.
